COVID-19 PCR, ANTIGEN, or ANTIBODY TEST DONE AT HOME

Hello,

Stone Oak Urgent Care & Family Practice is always striving to put patients’ health first. Due to COVID-19 we are offering TELEHEALTH to decrease the spread of the virus. However, now we have taken it a step further that any patient presenting with potential COVID-19 or viral upper respiratory symptoms we are offering our patients an avenue to get TESTED from their own home. The tests we are offering are the 2 types of COVID-19 tests, which are PCR and Antigen testing. In addition, we are also offering Antibody testing. Below is an explanation of each of the tests.

COVID PCR Test- Doctors use this test to diagnose people who are currently sick with COVID-19.

COVID Antigen Test- This test identifies people who are currently infected with the coronavirus. It may be used as a quick test to detect active infections.

COVID Antibody Test- Antibody tests identify people who have previously been infected with the coronavirus. They do not show whether a person is currently infected.

Please feel free to contact our office at 210-481-6060 to schedule an appointment either by phone, tablet, computer, or in office if you seek medical attention.

We are all in this together! We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will follow guidance from the public health officials and government agencies so we can continue to support our patients and communities as needed.

Sincerely,
