"Dr." Gogu is the embodiment of everything that is wrong with the medical profession today. He has no concern for patients, probably just wants to make money and enjoy the cultural prestige that comes from being an MD. Gogu has been my Primary Care for a few years, and rarely have I seen him (maybe 4-5 times). Every time I have had an interaction with him, he is short and dismissive. He always tries to rush me out and when I see him, it's like we're meeting for the first time. He has no idea who I am and he doesn't know my medical record. Last time I visited the good "Dr.," I told him that I have a cyst on my scalp that I'd like to have removed. I told him that it was not a liquid cyst, but a solid mass that needs to be extracted (I've had a few taken out already). The Dr. didn't listen to me and said he could do it right then. When he returned with a needle to lance the cyst, I knew he wasn't listening to me. When he couldn't drain it---because it's not that kind of thing, which is in my record!!---he then got out a scalpel and proceeded to cut my head open. When he still couldn't get it out, he finally gave up and said he would refer me to someone who could. In the process of trying to force the thing out, the "Dr." literally grabbed me by the EYE SOCKET for leverage and painfully squished my EYEBALL---as though I was a BOWLING BALL!! Then, they attempted to glue the unnecessary wound shut, but couldn't get the bleeding to stop. But Gogu is busy and couldn't be bothered to see his disaster through, so he left without a word. A couple weeks later, the wound reopened and has since become infected, oozing puss-filled blood. What a delight. But that is just one interaction. The more frustrating issues with this office is that trying to get refills on medication is a CONSTANT STRUGGLE. And when I FINALLY do get refills, the quantity of my medication is never consistent. It switches from a 30-day supply to a 90-day supply, to a 60-day supply and back again to 30. And this is where one of the main problems comes, because it is a massive hassle to try to get refills from this office. Today was the final straw. His office staff is incompetent and he is uncaring. I had to deal with Gogu today because it often takes over 4 days to get a prescription refill through their system, submitting multiple requests. This time it took nearly TWO WEEKS. When one is on daily medications, this is completely UNACCEPTABLE and even potentially DANGEROUS. So I called into his office to say I needed my prescription refilled, but the staff told me I needed to come in for a drug screen. The policy, as stated numerous times by the office, is that a drug screen is required every 90 days. Once again, it has NOT been 90 days since my last test, but because the Dr. and his staff cannot keep track of my record, I CONSTANTLY have to tell them that it has been less than 90 days since my last screen. This happens almost EVERY TIME I request refills, and I have NEVER come up hot on a drug test. Let alone the inconvenience of having to take off work to go to the office, it COSTS MONEY every time I have to go in, and drug screens cost more on top of the office visit. But the "Dr." doesn't care in the least. When I spoke to Gogu today and very politely told him about this constant problem of not being able to get my meds, he LITERALLY ROLLED HIS EYES at me 4 or 5 times and just tried to shuffle me out. He didn't give a damn about the constant frustration I've had with his office. He finally said he would call in a 90-day supply of my meds, but when I went to pick them up just now, he STILL only called in a 30-day supply!! Long story short: DO NOT use this "doctor." He is incompetent and rude, runs a terrible office, and clearly doesn't care about patients. Find a real doctor.

I came to DR. Gogu on short notice to get a precertification workup for a release for foot surgery. The blood work was accomplished along with an EKG, Chest and foot x-rays The Doctor advised me at my age I should look for other alternatives but after going through all that had been done he decided it was really my call if I satisfied the exam criteria. I have since removed the Primary care doctor I had and have changed over to DR. Gogu. I would recomend this practice to anyone in need of an excellent Urgent care or family doctor. Thank you DR.Gogu my foot surgery went well and I'm recovering better than I was expecting. His office staff and Nurses were also very nice to work with. The throughness that he went through reviewing my medical history was very impressive. Let this be your first choiceif you need a doctor who analyzenes your problems gives you the advice you need and then supports your decision for themedical work you want to have accomplished.

Dr. Gogu, you might be the most unprofessional doctors this city has ever encountered. You rushed, you didn’t diagnose, and most importantly you missed diagnosed leaving me to have a way worse disease now because you suck at your job. Now I have to deal with it when this could’ve been over. Thank you Dr. Gogu your a f****** Idiot.

I am not a person that writes reviews often, but unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered with a doctor. The staff was amazing but unfortunately, the doctor was not. As soon as he came in, I don’t know if he was just having a bad day, but he was very dismissive. He didn’t even give me a chance to tell him what I was feeling. He just dismissed it, and prescribe me a six dollar over-the-counter cream and was very sarcastic for no reason. I came in with the joy and peace so I know it was not me. He just kept rolling his eyes and was turning down everything that I said, I don’t wish that kind of treatment on anyone and I pray that he does better for the sake of his business practice and for the people that he are caring for. He probably was having a bad day, but I pray his day gets better and that he is more kind to his patients.

There wasn’t a visit? Was my insurance charged as if I did attend? The appointment was canceled

Hands down the worst Dr I have been treated by. I should’ve listened to the bad reviews on zocdoc especially about being RUSHED out. I’m in the process of finding out if I have thyroid cancer and it seemed like my first apt with Dr.Gogu went well, but the second appointment was just so insensitive and RUSHED. I told him I was even more concerned because I had missed my menstrual cycle and was having nausea. Instead of offering to give me a pregnancy test for peace of mind he said “it’s just from stress, you’ll be fine…get your biopsy and I’ll see you Friday” I took a test the next day and it was POSITIVE. To make matters worse, he referred me to Baptist imaging to get my biopsy done for my thyroid, I called the next day and they said they don’t even do FNA’s anymore. So now I am left with a moderately suspicious nodule on my thyroid and back to square one.

Went to have blood drawn both nurses unable to draw blood. Tourniquet not applied tight got stuck 3 times. I was send to CPL to have my lab done. The lab tech said I could see your veins without a tourniquet. I suggest more training

I thought it was worth putting up with the incompetent and uncaring office staff in order to see Mary again. I was wrong. My health is not even on the radar when it comes to the priorities of the office. Whoever is responsible for the functioning of the office should be replaced.

Dr. Gogu is a awesome doctor and staff, he is very nice. They need more help in the front desk. They answer the phone then put your call on hold for long time.

I would give zero stars if I could. I brought my son for an ankle injury, the said it was a sprain and to come back if it still bothered him. We came back, they sent us for an X-ray at another location, and though the imaging center sent our results in 24 hours, no one from this office ever called us to tell us the results. It has now been eight days, I called three times, left two voicemails, and still no one has followed up. Eventually I found another doctor, who said it was a fracture and that we’ll need an orthopedist. Do not waste your time or money coming here as no one follows up or gives you results. This could be long lasting problems for my child, now that it’s been a month since his injury and he’s been walking and participating in things as normal. Do no harm wasn’t taken too seriously here.
